About this job
My Name is E is looking for an experienced software engineer that knows his or her way around scalable cloud services that connect with a broad range of mobile applications. We have a very high standard when it comes to user experience, and want our code to be as good as our product looks and feels.
Responsibilities
- Desiging and building future iterations of the web app
- Interpreting, analyzing and optimizing current frameworks
- Optimizing cloud architecture on AWS for scalability
- Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Interface with product, front-end, and operations teams
- Proactively look for ways to make My Name is E better
Requirements
- Expert knowledge developing and debugging PHP/MySQL (ROR pre)
- Experience in working with SVN environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Disciplined approach to development, testing, and quality assurance
Desired skills
- Experience with database design and caching
- Previous startup experience
